I thought this movie would be the first in a slate of pandemic-y centered movies that would be watched wide-watched, given our current real-world situation. The movie for its part was quite decent with some choice a acting all-around. The story was very believable. The dialogue was not of a lazy apocalypse-style b movie, it was clear and it lead me to really care for these characters. In addition, the different displays of love, empathy and friendship between the different characters really made this film complete for me. Even when they could not be all in the same room together they loved and tendered to each other. The antagonists got what they deserved in the proper moments and it was all so satisfying as their demises were built upon to just the proper moment for them to go. 'Songbird' will be one of my favorite films this year. I really was scared to watch a pandemic film as we will be getting so many more but the film was made with care from the same hands that catered to 'A Quiet Place' and that is an exceptional suspenseful masterpiece of suspense. I rate 'Songbird' 5 out of 5 stars for these reasons stated above :)

KJ Apa is a revelation. Truly loved it.

I loved the story, it made me feel familiar with the current situation we have been living for most of 2020 with the current Pandemia although in a completely terrible worst scenario than what we are, Thanks God! The movie kept me at the edge of my seat, wondering if our two main characters were going to make it, it's also a true love story of 2 lovers that faith for their love with all they have! I truly enjoyed this movie!!!

Very appropriate to current times....COVID on steriods!
