went in thinking this wasn’t my type of movie. i enjoyed it. was entertaining. better than little women.

A little slow at times but funny.

Charming film on society manners, mores, and friendships amongst the well-to-do and poor and most importantly, saying yes to a true love. Cast was excellent.

Costumes and settings are amazing. Some of the accompanying music choices seemed odd. The Jane Fairfax character came across as dull and lifeless. Overall the movie was enjoyable and I would see it again. It is not, however, my favorite adaptation of this book.
