Love the attempt at authenticty, which they succeeded with, by the way. The representation of not only the characters were well-executed, but the art direction was also phenomenal. (I should know, that was the NYC of my past...) Also, Kushner's script really gave the characters a back story which gave the story has a whole more plausibility.

FANTASTIC!!!! Rachel Zegler is a once in a lifetime talent, Ariana Debose is the definition of a triple threat, Josh Andrés Rivera’s Chino deserves the world, and Iris Menas beautifully portrays a dynamic and fleshed-out Anybodys.

Exceeded my expectations. Great screen play and performance. The script was true to the original. The choreography was fantastic. The role of Anita was very well played. The film moved you emotionally. This tragic tale touched me.

Wow! So moving and heart wrenching. So hard to watch reality.
