excellent film!

The Goldfinch was a wonderful, tragic, emotional tale throughout. We get a look at the life of the abused and the exploited Theo, who lost his mother at an early age due to a bombing at the MET. Cleverly structured via flashbacks, we frequently jump between the young Theo and his present-day self as we get to know both versions of the characters and see how their seperate struggles intertwine.

This film was very well written and cast! I would definitely recommend to anyone who enjoys a great drama with unexpected thrill.
