This is a powerful film that I won't soon forget. First, the acting was superb. Next, the knowledge that this heartbreaking story was a true one made me angry and horrified. The footage of the real "Mauritanian" at the end of the film was wonderful. His beautiful spirit after everything that happened to him was a powerful reminder on forgiveness and his strength of character.

Unimaginable that this was a real story and the secret involvement of our government. I understand we need to be protective and proactive but the dirty little secrets might go too far in the search for justice.

A story that needs to be heard

Powerful movie! Hoping it will open the eyes of those that can make a differences to the men left inside. It really moved me. Jody Forster, Shalene Woodley & Benedict Cumberbatch performed incredibly well!
