It's an action movie and it follows the standard genre tropes that have been set over the last decades. That said - I think they attempted to do something better than the standard. The single take action sequence moving down the road was a wonderful alternative to the over edited norm. I just wish they had put the same effort and skill into the dialogue. Did Hot Fuzz teach us nothing?

Good movie for action fans, very entertaining

Gerard Butler was charismatic as always, and a few of the shootouts, as well as the multiple stabbings, helped detract from the weak supporting characters.

It was your typical action movie, but it was engaging enough. The actors were likable and the story was okay!
