I thought it did a great job of touching on important themes in an engaging and nuanced way. Also, I enjoyed the stylization and how plot twists were used not just to surprise the audience; but also to take the story in new and interesting directions.

A very honest portrayal of trauma and what does to a woman. The tittle itself is brilliant, playing with the words in which men are protected and women are left behind. \r\rIncredible casting decisions, the throwbacks to the early 2000's (the "bubblegum" aesthetic) and the ways Emerald Fennell plays with imagery. Great film overall.

Carey Mulligan gave one of the most raw beautiful performances of the year. The screenplay was brilliant. Emerald Fennell is a powerhouse and I can’t wait to see what she does in the future. The soundtrack was genius and Stars Are Blind by Paris Hilton is one of the best needle drops i’ve seen in a film.

An important film that felt like a 21st Century Thelma and Louise. Similarly, the heroine dies in the end. But, that's life.
