I did not like it

It was a very good movie. The only thing that I did find offensive was the portrayal of Earl. I thought it gave a very negative view of African Americans. He kept using profanity, and why did he have to get some weed cookies from get himself and his friend high. It doesn't matter if he didn't realize. And his brother, he was just sitting around with his dog not doing anything. AND he cursed.

The movie was somewhat original and comical. I did enjoy the two main characters. They felt very real. However, there was nothing truly outstanding about the plot. The some of the characters were a bit stereotypical, and felt empty. The characters could have been expanded a lot more than just the wimpy white guy, and the ghetto black guy. It had potential but ended rather lack luster.

It's five star content that sells. It's a study film. The actors get 4 stars, the direction gets 3 stars the rewrite gets a 2. The film as a whole gets a three. Like most Spanish Films, the cinematography is cumbersome. The dramatic pauses too much. I have all of the music. Sound saved the film. I don't get enough Earl and dying girl.
