Entertaining and fun. Doesn't take itself too seriously, and seems to have a self-awareness about the leaps of faith and trite aspects of the plot that are necessary to drive the action forward and achieve the triumphant ending. Likely a bit too complicated for some attention spans, it is engaging and a fun ride to take all the way to the end. Yes, there are hokey aspects, but it is all played for fun and well done in that light. Enjoyable, a fun movie in the vein of Independence Day & other 4th of July escapist battles to save the world from aliens. Glad I watched it & I recommend it.

Good show.. great actors . A little dark in places but very good action. .Did slow down a bit but every movie does that. A good show. With very good supporting cast.

The special effects (especially the design and movement of the aliens) were very engrossing, and the action sequences were riveting, without being overwhelming. The story line flowed pretty well, and the characters were engaging. It was a very good movie, over-all.

Good. \rThere were some logical technology deficiencies. The claw from the Whitespike could have been an alien bred after they escaped the glacier. (There would be no ash residue) I guess lucky break that the claw was from the spaceship alien.
