The characters didn't really connect with the audience nor with each other. There were just too many details of the character's backgrounds that should have been filled in and the movie was slow at times.

A lot of plots and subplots but the one about her not being able to bear children is very poignant

It wasn't interesting enough for me to sit through the whole movie. I gave up before the halfway point of the plot.
