Vikander was believable in this adventure story - her pain and frustration were believable especially in the first 75% of the movie. As a woman, I appreciated that the producers were not compelled to add a love story subplot - instead they allowed Lara Croft's character to be her own hero. My only issue with the film was the portrayal of Croft's father - a bit too melodramatic for me.

Good movie. Like the action. Different flare given the history from the usual main character.

The movie overall was very well done. It sets the entire character up for future success and provides a great origin film. The actress was a great balalnce for the Lara Croft character.
