There were a lot of funny scenes but there were also more scary scenes. It is definitely not a movie for children. I lot of cursing. But for the most part very funny and super scary. I would recommend this movie to anyone that is a fan of scary/thiller movies. It was a great remake of a great movie.

It's not your typical horror film, more like a cross between Stand By Me, the Goonies, and horror. The young actors nailed it.

Great film, slow to start, but ended well.
