Found it slow & stretches of sign language I was hoping for subtitles to understand the conversations.

Overall I found it to be a boring movie. The premise was good but the way the story was told was uninteresting. The filming was too dark except the last 30 minutes or so. I did like that the audience hears or doesn't hear as Ruben does.

The story of a musician drew me in and his journey to self acceptance was progressing, but the plot meanders a bit and much of the same ground could be tread while cutting some of the more indulgent fat - parts of the film felt "artsy" for the sake of artsiness. The ending was also disappointing; I get that the character's despair and realization of his mistakes is the crux of his journey, but the way it is constructed leaves the plot hanging to some extent and not in a way that made me feel good about it after investing a solid 2 hours to see how the story concluded.

Had strong moments and effectively put us in his head but erratically paced and medically questionable.
