A very traditional story about facing one’s traumatic past. Great acting elevates a film that revisits a very familiar narrative about a hard Southern coming out and a death that requires a homecoming. Alan Ball is a genius, so this recycling of cliché scenes was surprising. He brought very little freshness to the saga.

G movie ....for open minded people

I enjoyed it as much as it was possible since there were so many technical problems - it glitched every six seconds and the sound went in and out, up and down but mostly down so I couldn't hear 85% of it Also, the sound wasn't synchronized with the lip movements, making it even more difficult to hear and understand\rThe acting was very good, loved Wally! Thanks so much for making this available - would have given four stars except for the issues\r

When I was allowed to start the film, it was already 1/2 over so I was a little confused about the movie. It ended happily so I wish I could have seen the beginning
