Good take on the coping with sexuality theme reminded me of Boyhood and Moonlight. I would like to have seen more character backstory for the Father/Grandfather.

Story line was interesting and well acted. The sound was HORRIBLE...it varied up and down so that I was constantly fiddling with the volume.

It was an interesting story which was set in 1973 and dealt with the difficulty of coming out to one’s family in a small southern town and the internal struggles which could last for years. I’m sure that only those of us of a certain age can appreciate the social stigmas back then which in today’s society would seem arcane by comparison.
