It was good - had some script stuff going on that didn't make sense - like how could those kids make those movies that obviously were high quality movies with paper mache puppets, and special effects that would have taken a huge amount of time and money to make. And what happened with taking the pretty girl to the prom? That was just dropped. And why was the black kid left out of the service.

nice movie. it was sweet, however, there could have been more development of the relationship between the main character and the girl. For instance more scenes outside the houses environment where they deal with outside ie stares and how that is coped with and how that may have brought them closer together.

A bit slow yet a decent coming of age movie

slow at first, but I really liked the story, the acting and the different environment.
