It was a good film. The ending surprised me.

Moody piece about grief, and healing, and learning to trust again. Beautiful cinematography, solo character piece about how to go on after dealt a major life blow. Edie has an unspecified traumatic event and abandons life and friends, perhaps suicidal and goes completely unprepared into the wilderness and suffers the consequences, only to be rescued by a kindly stranger who teaches her how to live off the land and survive, and open her heart again.

It was a excellent movie on dealing with grief. The location was beautiful and went well with the story.

Makes one think about the important things in life.
