Beautifully shot, energetic, emotional, the movie was amazing roller coaster ride. The use of colors, the surrounding buildings, the environment around the actors was smartly used and really helped tell the story. The actors singing and dancing and movements were mesmerizing and kept you in the story. Congratulations to Jon M. Chu, all the actors and most especially, Lin-Manuel Miranda.

It's the ultimate movie musical for these times. What a beautiful piece of art- a love letter to NY, immigrants, and Broadway. The changes made from stage to film were perfect and well-executed from lyric changes, song placement, and making it more current and relevant. Quiara Alegira-Hudes is a master storyteller breathing new life into Lin-Manuel Miranda's music and Jon Chu's creative vision.

I loved watching this film from beginning to end!! It was creative, culturally sensitive and appropriate and a great representation of the Latino culture in NY and the U.S. The music was vibrant, contagious, happy and the dances were well performed. The whole cast has so much talent and energy!! It was truly a pleasure to watch and I would recommend it to everyone. Makes me proud to be a Latina!!

As a person who lived in Washington Heights for the past 10 years, and as a latinex person I felt this was incredible representation of the community, and a beautiful tribute. I also really appreciated all of the different people in the movie, all different countries of latinex people, shapes, colors, it was just a wonderful celebration. I would HIGHLY recommend it to anyone I know.
