It was a typical boy meets girl, they fall in love, encounter a few bumps along the way, seems they're not going to make it work and then whala, they work it out and live happilly ever after. I actually enjoyed the Alan Alda story line better than the present-day boy meets girl story.

More like a movie for tv. I did not like the merging of the two stories and it seemed the ending was mashed together. I could see the make up on Clint's son throughout the movie. One minute he was light skinned then next he had half of his face in a fake tan.
