I enjoyed the first one more, this felt like it was dragging and after such an intense opening the film was slow and couldn't match that opening sequence. Cool little Harry Potter secrets we're great

Worst movie of the series.Johnny Depp and Eddie Redmayne had 1 expressionless look on their faces for the entire movie. Multiple side plots lost me along the way.Dialogue almost inaudible in many scenesIncredibly slow moving Barely advanced the storyline from the first movie. I don't see how they can make 5 movies in this series. Visually impressive but.....

Pre-existing characters from the first film were taken and much of what made them interesting was stripped away (Queenie, Jacob, Tina) to service the larger plot. New characters that were introduced were given little to no character development (Leta, Theseus). The film wasn't fun, it just felt like a large set-up for the next 3. Also, really bad twists that felt poorly planned.

It dragged the whole movie. Extremely slow paced and the story telling was all over the place. A LOT of things were not explained well and there were WAY too many unlikable characters for me to even care or feel invested in the movie or story. I expected more and got nothing in return.
