I worked as a propmaker on the film so if it counts, it was true to the grit, sets and storyline and portrayed an event in history in shocking reality, especially with one who witnessed the assasinations only feet away while working on the sets. It was doubly real witnessing the action along with the actors. Hats off to IATSE 209/CLE ,production crews , directors, and a pleasure to work with Shaka.

This movie detailed the struggle then and the struggle now what Black people are experiencing. It depicted the double standard that we as Black people must endure when it comes to the police and social justice. It just made you upset how Fred Hampton and the Black Panther organization we’re treated. It should always be pointed out that the Black Panther’s provided free heath care and free lunches.
