To be honest, I went in having not seen the trailer and went purely on the fact it had a good cast. The description seemed like it would purely be an action film. I was surprised by the depth of the story line, and emotions that came with the film. I was excited, nervous, anxious, emotional, relieved and many other emotions. I really enjoyed the film, the characters they encountered, and the journey they went on. Great film!

Excellent graphics with little gore (great plus for me). Would recommend for any patron of action movies! How do I get into more of the same?

To start with, I was "in it" the whole movie, reminded me in ways of "War of the Worlds" because it is so epic. Acting was great and I liked the picture of the comet headed towards earth in beginning. Was glad when the Garrity family got the Presidential alert but didn't realize how all the neighbors would react, especially the neighbor who tried to give them their daughter. When fragments started flying and Tampa/Orlando getting hit, the tension was on and all the impact video's on TV were cool especially the damaged landmarks when it widened out to the other countries. Then the news of an extinction fragment within 24 hours, wow. But the max drama was when they got split up and their son was rejected because of medical and high drama when text not delivered and the plane explodes. And like it couldn't get worse, the people they hitched a ride with steal her son and the bracelets, daing. Happy moment when they meet at grandpa's house, I love me some Scott Glenn, but then they have to leave him behind argh. Am I the only one think the odds to stay in one place where about the same as running when the small molten debris falling? Loving the pilot on the little plane, nice guy, then the classic scene I anticipated, them making just before the big doors closed but didn't anticipate it would end with them coming out and seeing birds, nice. Thanks and good movie!
