The movie started out funny and quirky but then got a little odd. The ending was sad but also weird to the point of feeling a little detached and unsure of what was going on. We still enjoyed it and the format was entertaining.

slow but somehow interesting start, must keep in mind that all adults are portrayed as seen by a teen-ager. atypical outcome, darling films scattered throughout main film. not sure what Earl part contributed or why... would watch again excellent writing

This was a very interesting movie for anyone who has not experienced what some high school teens go thru when attending classes with other class mates.

I loved the humor but the sappy parts seemed a bit drawn out.
