Honestly Matthew McConaughey was the only actor pulling the audiences attention with his part as the villain. The action scenes were done well, but at the end of the day if the studio wanted a popular movie then they should draw more scenes from the book (not that I read the book, but to me a popular series should have more than what the film gave and I am guessing the studio cut back on alot of details that made the book so popular)

I thought that the pacing and action were just right and Elba and McConahey were great in their roles!

Not great, but a fun, entertaining movie

I feel like I missed an epic battle. From the trailer I expected a big battle that would define the destiny of all humanity but I left the theater thinking was that it?. It had a good cast, an interesting story but I felt the story wasn't properly developed. I give it a 3 because I like the pictures and the effects.
