Its important to understand what happened in 1967, July. It was horrible. But we need to know our past so we can move forward with our future and not trust everyone that is white. It important to have positive experiences and provide that for our children, family and friends. This movie shows you how a person can be mentally affected for life from negative events. Sad white people free.

This was an excellent movie. Very riveting. On my mind for days!!

I loved the movie. I was not sure what to expect from the movie but it kept me intrigued every second.

This is definitely one of the best movies of the year. The crime activity that occurred was shot from the beginning of the crime to the end. Nothing was left out, the tension in the audience was unbelievable. Even the jury room scene in 12 Angry Men was not as tense as what was filmed here. The movie Detroit is a must see.
