Better than I expected considering its a PG-13 horror movie adapted from a 10 page Stephen King short story. Wasnt perfect or groundbreaking but definitely worth watching

Summer film for you and the spooky-seeking kids? Yes! Great use of the run time to enjoy someone else's a/c and surround sound. The audio for this is an important part of the film.\r\rCan't say I've seen much Stephen King, nor read much, but I'd say it's a good interpretation of one of his short stories. Edge-of-seat stuff we expect: careful with your popcorn.

Overall The Boogeyman was a good movie, however the mother's death should have been explained more in detail/actually in the movie. Also the Boogeyman should have had more appearances. I would recommend to friends!

It was entertaining and had its scary moments. There were just some inconsistencies to the plot and things that would happen that wouldn't make sense. There were some gaps in events that I would wonder what happened like when the little girl was in a close encounter with the monster then suddenly in the next scene she was completely fine. There were a ton of moments like that with the little girl.
