This documentary is terrific. It is centered around a concert series that happened in Mt. Morris Park, in Harlem during the summer of 1969. There is a little bit for everyone: soul, gospel, funk, pop, jazz, blues and latin. Stay through the end credits to watch Stevie Wonder.

This is a great movie. Very powerful message. Great movie. Had no idea that this had happened in life. So glad the footage is finally available for everyone to see.

A fantastic time capsule of a bygone era. Summer of Soul is an instant classic. Ranks up there with Jazz on a Summers Day.
