This movie really hit home for me, I really understand more what my Grandpa went through for speaking his language. I will share you can rub an indian raw but you cannot take the Indian away. What a powerful story about what the Indians went through in residential school. Thank you to Stephen Campanelli for directing powerful story that was horrifying for our Indian people.

Eye opening

It’s a subject that needs to be tackled. The movie was a bit disjointed. For example, Saul’s alcoholism was unexplained.

Indian Horse is not a subtle exploration of the residential school experience, but it is nonetheless an important one. This is a movie Canadians should see for an understanding of recent First Nations history, and for the betterment of our country.
